Hyper-V and virtual switch question

So I Installed hyper-v 2012 on my lab environment, and have teamed up two nics. I can initially ping the hyper V ok, but when i make a virtual machine there is no NIC presented for the VM to use.

So here comes my problem.

I go to add an external switch, and notice that my hyper-v host loses connection. How am i suppose to keep hyper-v host 10.0.0.15/24 in the connection, and also add external switch to bridge my servers that i make to the 10.0.0.0/24 network? Because when i do this at the moment, i lose my connection to my hyper-v host 10.0.0.15
