i am unable to see hidden files

i am unable to see hidden files. i select on show hidden files. after that when i again went in folder option. i seen its automatically select the option do not show hidden files and folder. i trayed through regedit solution like hkey local machine > Software > Microsoft > Windows > Current version > Explorer > Advance > Folder > Hidden > Show All and change the checkedvalue to 1. but after that i am not able to see hidden files. please suggest me the proper way to solve this problem.
