I bought a wifi adapter from China, and it came with a CD

I got an Inamax USB Wifi Adapter 1200Mbps today, and I plugged it in and it is working two times better than my old wifi adapter. It came with a CD and instruction booklet that says it contains updates to drivers. Is it safe to put the CD in my computer and run it?
