i can’t even type the term ‘anti virus’ in my explorer

I hav widows XP sp2 on hp pc…i had to uninstall my anti virus as it carshed …whn i am trying to download anti virus from net ..Explorer disappears….i can check my mail and do anything else on mycomputer ,,the problem comes only when I type? anti virus ? in google or any othr searche engines ?I tried to access some anti virus web sites like ?kaspersky ,bit defender same problem?explorer window will be disappeared..
