I need to know how to disable OS install

I get a message that says alert OS intall enabled……. then I have to press f1 or f2 depending if i want to continue or not, I have 2 XP os on my computer because when I tried format my partitian so I could get my computer back to normal the computer said I needed some temp files from the other version to keep going…… anyways first thing I want to do is figure out how to unable the OS install
