My subject pretty much explains it, but what I’m trying to do is set up Windows Server 2003 on a Serial ATA raid. I’m buying all the parts brand-new right now. The motherboard I was planning on getting is an Intel DQ965GFEKR Socket 775 MicroATX Motherboard. An unreliable source told me some motherboards don’t boot off their Serial ATA’s; I believe that’s just the older motherboards, this one is quite new and setup to run a Serial ATA raid, so I doubt that should be a problem. Though another issue I’m not sure of is the installation of Windows Server 2003, will that automatically be able to recognize my Serial ATA hard drives or will I have to monkey with some weird drivers and floppy disks? I’m afraid of floppy disks. Anyway, I just wanted to know if there was anything I should know. Thanks for your time.
