IBM Aptiva

A friend asked me to look at their computer that has refused to come on. The system is correctly connected but nothing happens; not even a light and a beep or anything. This is the first time I’ve encountered anything like this. Usually the system comes on and then you get some type of error message but this time – zilch.

Can anyone help me solve this mystery??
