IBM Eserver needs XandrOS

Just bought an IBM Eserver from a trusted source and found that it had CoreOS Linux installed. Somehow the OS got wiped and the drive now seems defunct. Taking the hint, i soon acquired 2 “newish” SCSI HDDs (checked a week before shipment), and lo and behold – they couldn’t be found by XandrOS’s install program — XP’s failed as well. This server has nothing on it and i can boot to DOS from a BootDisk, and can load cd drivers, and run a cd, but that’
s as far as i can get. Is this a serious problem or am i just missing something obvious (entirely possible)? I’d appreciate any help anyone can offer.
