IBM Laptop BIOS Password

I am having a IBM -T60P laptop. Accidentally the BIOS Password created and I am not able to remember the password. Can you please tell me how can reset or break the password. I asked one of my IT friend and he suggested that changing the motherboard is the only way out.

Can any one guide me to break/reset the password.
When I switch on the laptop, immediately it show the picture of computer and nothing else and stops there. I would be grateful to you if you could advise a way out to break/reset the password.
