IDE Error in Server 2k3

I have received this error on a couple of different servers and Im trying to find the cause:

\Device\Ide\IdePort0, did not respond within the timeout period.

There are no other errors in the event logs, it has not caused any decreased performance (One server only has one drive and it didnt crash when it got the error), the servers are all Dell (Models 1950, and 2850). Any ideas?
