IE LAN Setting IP reverts w Proxy Server

Recently we installed MS Proxy Server, and MS Proxy Client. For several computers in the office, each time the computer is rebooted, the Internet Explorer connection LAN setting reverts to a setting other than the proxy server IP (and the associated port). Many of the other computers in the office do not have this problem and keep their settings.

I looked in Microsoft’s knowledge base & it said to put “http://” before the address, but that didn’t seem to help. “Automatic configuration options” are unchecked, and “Use same proxy server for all protocols is checked”.
