IE7 could not able to maximize

From the desktop I click on ie7. It does not open ie in the maximize mode even when i right click and select maximize it does not open i can see only desktop. When I opened it display me on the taskbar. If I right click I can see minimize and maximize. I uninstalled ie7 and reinstalled ie7.
Scan for virus and spyware but no luck.

Any suggestion…..
