IIS 4.0 & FP Sever Ext. 2000

I attempted to delete a virtual web when my server hung. I ended the task and restarted MMC..now every time I attempt to delete the web I get a message that it does not exist. When I try to re-create it, I get a message that the name is already in use. How do I get around this?
