IIS v6 and CA’s for clients

by swisstonihasher . Updated 18 years, 10 months ago

Hi there,

I have an extranet setup on 2003 server running IISv6 with locally setup CA. I’ve got everything running for SSL connections via a server certificate but what I want now is to have a manual process of sending Client Certs from the CA to external clients so that they can then access the web pages – I can see how to setup IIS to block clients without certs but cant see how 2003’s CA gives you the option to produce client certs – any ideas?

Extra notes: Non AD, standalone CA.
