IIS, windows 2008 server standard version

i wish to reinstall the current IIS from the ‘server manager’, because wanna to troubleshoot on mail server purposed. But i do not know what will happen if i remove the IIS and install back again. How to check the dependecy software on IIS? Please help and guide me.
