I’m trying to log on to my remote desktop, but I keep getting the message

getting “this computer can’t connect to the remote computer”, I went into “System Properties”, as the help buttom stated, I’m supposed to go under “Remote Desktop”, but I don’t have that, I only have the Remote Assitance. I’m supposed to go under Remote Desktop and click on “allow connections from computers running any version of remote desktop”. What can I do to get this to run?
