Images In E-mails replaced by CID statement

by james.willis . Updated 17 years, 2 months ago

I am using Exchange 2007 SP1 on Server 2008
Outlook 2007 SP1, Vista Sp1

I send out regular e-mails which will incorporate a scren capture or two. My inhouse colleagues can view them without issue, however when I send them to users in my sister company. the image is stripped and instead
they get
[cid:image004.jpg@01C9D491.F043A040]

Recipient setup – Linux server with Thunderbird or outlook 2007.

encoding on recipient side is
[cid:image004.jpg@01C9D491.F043A040]

But at end of e-mail they get (have clipped the end as its a lot more of the same!
