Imaging Dos partitions

As the IT Administrator of a company we have 3 machines that run DOS (don’t know what version). I need to image these drives because the machines have had glitches before and it tooks hours to get them back up. What is a good way to image these drives without having to remove them from the current systems they are in? They have parallel ports available. What software/hardware would you suggest?
