Import address file into Outlook Express

I have exported my Outlook express address book into a csv file and emailed it as an attachment to another user at a remote location. He saves the file to a floppy disk and tries to import it to his Outlook express.
The fields that I exported are First name, Last name, Middle initial, Name, E-mail address.
When he inports it, the import does not list E-mail address as one of the imported fields.
When he opens the file up in Excel all the fields are there.
I have tried to use the file toimport addresses from the file and it works.
Could it be losing something in the transmission?
