Index and Extract

Do you happen to know of a tool that will index/search the contents of a document(s) that is located on a file share (network drive that is served via windows server 2003) and export the findings to a directory of my chioce?
The documents could be a pdf document, microsoft document, or whatever.

I have a few serach terms like:

Donkey”
“Shrek”
_Soccer_
Foot!
Football /10 Manning

I have been doning some reasearch but I am drawing nil.
