Infrared and printing in Win98

I have an HP 350 printer that I want to be able to use with my laptop via infrared.

Windows98/128mb RAM/40gHard drive

the problem: i have done everything i can to configure the printer … the computer “sees” the printer/printer test page is fine/power light is on. But when I tell it to print, the first line or two starts .. then it stops printing – but keeps advancing another piece of paper til the paper is gone.

Any suggestions?

BTW .. I tried HP support .. and for a sizable fee,told me that the problem is in the BIOS and they can’t help me.
