Install

When making a clean install of windows what do I have to do. I want to put Windows ME on the computer and take off Windows 98.
The windows 98 was from another computer and put on mine just temporearerly. Do I format the hard drive and put WindowsME on it, so there’s no trace of the windows 98edition.
