install linux

I have server 2ooo installed and it is mirrored .i want to install fedora 4 to configure mail server on it. every time I try to boot from the cd it allow me but at the installation it gives me hde and hdg instead of hdc. i tried to delete the partition but it only give me the following two options ctrl F OR Esc to boot from the HDD .HOW can I get rid of the the mirror to install Linux? Or how can I format those 2 HDD?S
