Install MOSS 2007, Single Server for development

I need to set up a Single Server for MOSS 2007, can somebody tell me how to. The instructions found on MSDN / technet website are confusing and I don’t know how to do some of those things. So a detailed, step-by-step set of instructions would be really helpful.
