Install new power supply

Repeat. I got call from son in law, journey level electrician, used to working off drawing, schematics etc. He pulled old PC PS as it tested out bad. Got new one..but is NOT sure how the plugs from PS go to Devices, HD, CD, etc. There was NO instructions with PS.. He says.. got enough plugs to hook all up…but nothing says how much volts/amps etc comes out each one. NO schematics is his issue. So got to ask since not done PS since 486 days. Do the plugs from PS interchangeable as to any device.. or what? Talking the 4 prongs..not the others.. Can any device be plugged into any plug on PS that has same connector?
