okay i upgraded my AMD 2.3 ghz single core to a AMD 2.4 dual core Cpu. when i turned it on everything else harddrive cds came on expect the mointer and the motherboard was beeping in this pattern long short short. how can i get it to work? i’ve done some research and some other message board posts have said flash the bios which i cant do since i cant even see what i’m doing while others said reformat the harddrive there are somethings on there i’d rather lose so i dont want to do that either so how do i get the computer running again and also i tried reinstalling the old one and it doesnt work either same symptoms everything comes on expect mointer. also i unpluged both cd and dvd drives the beeping stopped but the mointer still didnt come on
