Installing DNS after server promotion to DC

A friend of mine just promoted his machine to be a Domain Controller but he skipped up the DNS installation step, so now the AD is without any DNS server.
Is there any method by which i can install DNS on this or some other machine, and update it with all the records that are normally there when we have AD integrated DNS.
