i have dell poweredge 2850 machine having two 70 GB harddisks.i try to configure RAID 1 and install win2k3 operating system over it.As mentioned in docouments, i insert the ” Dell installation and server management CD ” and restart the machine.
the user guide and some other guides tells that it will ask for
language option, software licence. and then click SERVER SETUP on system managemnt page.
but when cd boots , it starts to boot isolinux then asks 3 options
1. server assistance
2. server assistance with media check
3 boot from hard disk
by default it goes on 1( server assistance )

to begin replication insert your replication floppy
replication will beging on system when the system is booted
..
…
at the end on monitor message appears as ” no out of range”
However ever
I am expecting that CD will ask from me Language options,sw licence , server setup,and I will become capable to install window 2003 server with Raid 1 support but invain.
Also which option I have to select in system setup for
Integrated Devices
1. Embedded SCSI Controller
2. Embedded RAID Controller
3. off
Kindly guide me where i am wrong .
Also tell me if want to configure RAID 1 after installation of win2k3 , then how can I
