Installing XP Tablet on HP Pavillion tx 1000 Tablet pc

Hi all, I’m trying to force XP tablet on my HP Pavillion tx 1000 Tablet PC.. it has Vista installed now, but it is just too slow considering its specifications.. So, do you think it’s a good move? Any problems I should be aware of? Anybody did this before? will the touchscreen feature still work??? i know its too many questions but i hope you guys can help me!!
