Integrating w2k-srv/ad with *nix Network

by stoker . Updated 25 years, 7 months ago

I am currently having some various Linux and *BSD servers running dns, dhcp and samba/wins for windows 98 and windows 2000 pro clients. Now I am forced to buy a windows 2000 server, due to a purchased business software c/s system. I have read a lot about windows 2000, and found that I most likely should move my user database to the windows 2000 server (or is it an easy to way make it use yp/nis?), and have my other server use this machines user/pwd db. I would also like to activate active directory, probably using windows 2000 own features for ldap and storage. BUT, I do not wish to use Windows 2000 DNS! It is difficult to find spesific material, any information, resource or book tip of “How to integrate (Linux/*Bsd) Bind with Windows 2000directory, would be very much appreciated.
