Intel Job Cuts

I saw it on CNN last night while I was enjoying some after work drinks and pizza. Pizza arrived before the full story was reported, so I didn’t catch all of the story.

Did I see it correctly???? They’re cutting 10,500 jobs? How can that be? With the release of Conroe (Core 2 Duo), aka “AMD killer”, you’d think they’d be HIRING more people.
