Hello all,
We?ve got a windows 2003 domain and the mail server is Exchange Server 2003. Now we set up a completely new domain for another business part and basically all the users (more than 50 thousand) in that domain will access the resources through internet using integrated services of ISA 2006, Share point 2007 and OCS 2007. The exchange installed for the new domain is Exchange 2007 Enterprise. Also both these domains are not in a single forest.
Here are my concerns,
1. Is there any way to access my mailboxes in the first domain by means of mapping if I create user accounts in the second domain?
2. Again these mail boxes should be able to access over the internet using the ids in the second domain what we are going to map with the mailbox ids in the first domain. Because the authentication would be given only to the ids from second domain in the share point.
3. Will trust relationships between these domains fix the issue? If then how it should be?
4. Also in the second domain the exchange environment is integrated with Edge servers, CAS and HUB servers and then Mailbox servers. All these 3 pairs are enabled with NLB. So is there any additional configuration needs to be performed any of these servers?
Any kind of help is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Sandeep
