internet access

I have internet access with att wifi but when i’m not in a hotspot,i show i’m connected to the internet with deloitte as it shows on my task bar but when i click on internet icon,i’m unable to connect and get server error.do i have to get a user id and password with deloitte to be able to connect?the convenience is nice since i don’t have to be in a hotspot to connect but i just cant connect with my wifi card
