Internet addresses

I am having problems with a computer that will not sign on to any internet address with the words “Microsoft, MSN or Windows” in it.
I get the message “This page cannot be displayed”.
It is happening on IE, Chrome, Mozella, Verizon.net, Netzero.net, MSN.com and Yahoo.
What is it about those three words?
