Internet connection problem via WIFI

We have a Toshiba laptop which needs to access the internet via WIFI however when the user logs in he can see the network however internet explorer will not display any pages.

When I log in with my account and follow the same steps the pages are displayed as they should be.

The laptop is running windows XP and the network accounts running on a Windows 2003 server.

I’ve checked the user account and it looks like it should. Nothing is different from mine and mine works,

Any help would be appreciated as I’m rapidly loosing my hair on this one.
