i currently use virgin media broadband (not wireless) with a 330 speedtouch modem, the internet works fine for a large percentage of the time , the problem i have is that the internet cuts out at intermittant times , when this happens i have to recconect by double clicking the icon on the desktop just as i do when i start up the computer, now, in the day time this is not a massive program but when i leave my machine on overnight to download i often wake up in the morning to find that the internet has cut out (probably about 5 mins after i went to bed)which is extremely frustrating , i have contacted virgin they say there is no prob at their end and the modem seems to work fine most of the time so im quite baffled.. , my operating system is windows xp , is their maybe a script i could use to get it to reconnect automatically or another solution??
anyone got any ideas how to solve this prob????
