Internet Explorer 5.0

Install Internet explorer 5.0 on window 2000.
Unable to connect through my company network.
I did basic troubleshooting that check lan settings, make sure the ip address is not conflicting, put a check mark on automatic proxy setting in connection. But still unable to connect to internet.
Please help ASAP.
