Internet History

how can I delete one single item from the drop down box containing the last visited addresses in IE 6 ?
In previous versions there was a Internet History folder under Windows, containing these addresses, now I see I have a History button on the toolbar but that doesn’t appear to be related to whatever I have in the drop down box. (I have “keep History” for 1 day, but still, in the box I have stuff I used weeks ago).

Thanks,
