Internet keeps closing down

I am running a home laptop with XP. I keep having this constant problem when I go on certain web pages in Explorer and Mozilla the page starts opening and then it just closes. I have tried finding the solution all over the net but are having no luck is there any one out there that is able to help me fix this problem. It only happens on a couple of different web pages but there are 2 particular ones I am having problems with which are www.seek.co.nz and www.companies.govt.nz, as soon as I open these pages on either explorer or mozilla they close the entire connection. I would appreciate any ones help thanks.
