internetworking

if a pc is connected to a LAN through the PSTN (telephone network) , is that pc has a MAC address even it has not an NIC (network interface card), it only has a modem…?
if that pc has a MAC, is that MAC is the same as that of the access server connects the LAN and the PSTN….?
