Interview Advice needed

I’ve been reading discussions with interview tips and it has been great despite still being nervous. I did some homework on the company that will be interviewing me tomorrow. And I found that another company is going to acquire the company that will be interviewing me (though nothing concrete at the moment – the deal is not done yet). Is it proper during the interview to ask about Job Security of the position? I know there’s nothing such as job security but I do want to stay in that position for at least 1 to 2 years being my first job after 2 years of not working.
