Invalid Local Device

I was installing Netware client on my win-98 machine and the installation was not complete. I un-installed the client and Now I keep getting this error whenever I try to map a drive.

The following error occured while trying to connect to F://college/users
Invalid local drive

I can do everything except map a drive. Any ideas ????
