Is 32GB RAM finally the new standard for casual users?

Hey guys,

So I’ve been thinking lately… is 32GB RAM now the “normal” for casual users?? 😅

I don’t do anything too heavy just some 1080p gaming, streaming with OBS once in a while, maybe Discord, Chrome (which is always hungry lol), and I like having music or YouTube running in the background too.

I’m still on 16GB and it works okay most times, but sometimes everything just feels… sluggish. Or maybe it’s just me thinking too much 😂

Couple years back 8GB was enough, then 16GB was like “you’re set bro” — and now it’s like if you don’t have 32GB your PC is old-school already?? What changed lol

I don’t wanna overspend if I don’t have to, but at the same time, I don’t wanna regret sticking with less RAM if apps keep getting heavier.

Anyone here upgraded to 32GB recently? Is it really worth it or nah? Would love to hear what y’all think.

(Also, sorry if this has been asked before, I did a quick search but didn’t see anything too close to my exact situation.
