Is Malware program legit?

I recently purchased a program called MalwareRemovalBot. It seemed to fix a problem I had with a malware program called MS Anti-Spyware that was causing numerous fake pop ups. Someone on this site suggested using MalwareRemovalBot. Now I’m seeing all kinds of postings telling people not to use it and remove it immediately. Can anyone tell me if this a legit program or am I going to have to remove it from several machines it’s installed on? Thanks for any help.
