Over the past few months, I’ve spoken with several IT managers who swear that remote work tools have boosted productivity. But I’ve also heard employees complain that these same tools, time trackers, monitoring dashboards, and AI analytics make them feel like they’re under constant surveillance.
This raises a big question for enterprises: Are we really using technology to empower employees, or are we just using it to monitor them more closely?
Where do you think the line should be drawn between productivity insights and digital surveillance in the workplace?
