Is there a solution for this GnuPG build problem

After building GnuPG on Windows XP using instructions at http://clbianco.altervista.org/gnupg/eng/gnupg.html

I ran a “make check” test of the build, and the conventional-mdc test failed. Is this failure important, and if so, what can I do to make conventional-mdc pass the test?

I would really appreciate a response that a layman can understand because I am a newcomer to software building. Please reply as quickly as possible so I won’t be bald. I’m pulling my hair out. Thank you, CD
