Is there a way to have two routers coming from one modem?

I work on a boat and we already have one wireless router connected to the modem using a cable and we would like to get another router on the other side of the boat and I was curious if we could use a splitter to split the cable and run the cable from the modem to the wireless router in the galley and still using the split cable run it to another wireless router on the other side of the boat?
