ISP failover options

Is there any way to set up automatic failover between 2 ISP’s (DSL and T1 in this case) with hosted emailservers. Would like a non BGP solution if available but understand that cached incoming mail could be delayed up to 72 hours which is unacceptable.
If BGP & AS only solution what options are recommended.
