I installed the Vista Upgrade Advisor yesterday and ran the scan which took over an hour to run, I discovered that Norton which I have via my isp Yahoo AT&T was no longer running on my machine. The scan showed that my machine was capable of running Vista if I upgraded my ram and video card. It also listed several programs with compatibilty issues. Anyway since I have no intention at this time of upgrading I decided to uninstall the Vista Advisor which I tried to do from the install/unistall software area of the control panel and get the message it can’t be uninstalled. In order to download the Vista Advisor I had to install Microsoft Net and am unable to uninstall that as well. In addition I’m unable to reinstall my Norton antivirus software. Help!!
