OK. Hi all. My question: I have a game here(Diablo, won’t be the only one i want to do this with) and i want to be able to set it up somehow so a friend and i can play the full version over the internet together(I have DSL with Windows ME(i do own acopy of NT Workstation if this is needed or can be used) and he’s running Cable and Windows 98) instead of actually being in the same room with a physical cable connection. It only run’s with the IPX protocol in network mode(which we’ll be using if we can pull this off). How would i go about setting this up or is it even possible? I have MS Personal Web Server(which i believe won’t do much/anything for what i’m trying to accomplish) and access to a Cable/DSL router(good one with all the extras)if this is of any importance as well. Is this along the lines of setting up a personal VPN? I figured i’d ask here before i go wasting my time for what might be nothing. There’s 500 points here for anyone who knows the ‘workable’ answer to the question(if there is one).
